We are energy neutral

I am Marloes and live in the countryside of the ancient bell-village Aarle-Rixtel.

We are proud that Aldörrum is energy neutral and doing our bit to redress the environmental impact of travelling. The accommodation is one of the factors of the Travel footprint.

Lots of fruit and originality.In the yard you will find a lot of berry bushes and our orchards offer exclusive old fruit varieties. The harvest of berries, blackberries, raspberries and plums can be found on the breakfast table. And of course eggs from our own free-range chickens.

't Tashuus - the Fruit barn

Guesthouse 't Tashuus refers to one of the outbuildings on a farmyard of Brabant. A Tashuus was used for storing the harvest. Each cottage is named after fruit. These fruits are found in the yard of Aldörrum.

't Tashuus

From way back, there was a clear dichotomy in the yard, one before and one behind. So has this building. ‘t Tashuus has an entrance both at 'the front' as well as at 'the back'. Both Front as Back each have 3 separate holiday apartments that opens out into a central hall with a front door. One appartement is situated on the first floor.

All apartments are suitable for 2 persons with its own bedroom, bathroom and living room with open kitchen. The well-equipped luxury kitchen has a dish-washer, combination microwave oven, an induction hob and refrigerator and is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and pans.

't Langhuus - the Longhouse

Guesthouse 't Langhuus is derived from a long facade farmhouse of Brabant which combined living quarters and working area under one roof. Each cottage bears the name of an old craft carried out in the immediate vicinity of Aarle-Rixtel.

Each cottage has its own entrance on the side of our farmstead. The cottages sleep 2 to 6 persons. The styles of the old crafts are converted throughout the apartment. They have been designed to have a "cottage" feel, and have old crafts names to emphasise their individuality.

In the biggest lodges there is a bedroom on the ground floor next to a large modern bathroom. The well-equipped luxury kitchen has a dish-washer, combination microwave oven, an induction hob and refrigerator and is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and pans.

The site is divided into three fields. Field 1 and 2 are located close to the amenity block, while field 3 is further away. The camping is car-free, so you and your fellow campers can enjoy your stay undisturbed. Behind the hedges on the side of the fields there is room to park the car. Thus, the car is never far away and always in sight.

The camping field set in a fruit orchard, lies adjacent to the field where you have a beautiful panorama. The pitches are generously spaced and have all electric hook up points (6 ampere).

There are no static holiday caravans. We cater for caravans, motor homes, trailer tents and tents.

Aldörrum minicamping is a small, quiet site situated on the edge of De Peel in Southeast Brabant. The campsite is a delightful and attractively landscaped and there are magnificent views from all pitches looking onto nature reserve 'De Biezen'.

Sanitary facilities inside

Aldörrum minicamping offers excellent (adapted) sanitary facilities. The 4 batrooms with floor heating are spacious with nice hot showers. The room is cleaned daily. It is clean, fresh and cared for. As an extra service, you can book the private (accessible) bathroom.

Rent-a-tent or Touring room

You want the attractions of camping in the country, but you don't have a tent or are unwilling to bring yours. You can book one of our unique (pump up) Karsten tents or you can stay in our touring room.

Facilities

Breakfast room

Your breakfast in the morning is served in the delightful breakfast room with open garden doors, or you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace. A packed lunch and an evening meal (family-style dining at our dinner table) is in consultation possible.

Private spa

For a fee you can use our private spa. The private spa includes a whirlpool bath, infrared and Finnish sauna to relax and replenish after your journey or after a full day of activities, exploring all that region De Peel has to offer. Use of this room is by appointment only.

Launderette

For your holiday laundry you can use our self service launderette. Our laundry room offers a washing and drying machine and large sinks for hand washing. You need tokens to start the washing and drying machine. Tokens are available at the reception. Do you need an ironing board and drying rack, let us know.

Bike shelter

If you are camping or staying with us, you can park (and recharge) your (electric) bicycle in the covered shelter. The shelter is also available for scoot mobile to park and recharge. If you don't bring your own bikes, you can rent a bike from us.

Terrace

Would you like to come together with friends or family, our different terraces are a perfect meeting point. For a little walk you don't have to travel far. On our property there is a stroll with several benches. In a nutshell, an ideal place to simply relax and to get away form the hustle and bustle.....

Common room Roontelum

The large common room (85 m2) has been named Roontelum (Around). It adds comfort to our site and offers a great place to meet other guests.
